### For your analytic power conversion efficiency

Mobile power is now a prerequisite for Smartphone users, but for the real situation of mobile power we understand at all? For example: a 6000mAH of power, known as the conversion rate could reach 90%, so why charge the iphone4S charging less than three times? Is deficiency?

We know that iphone4S 1460mAH battery capacity, in the simplest arithmetic, 6000 ÷ 1460 ≈ 4.11, in other words, 6000mAH battery should be filled with 4 times, but why reality is far from it? Today, we're going to talk about issues relating to power conversion efficiency.

Briefly clarify the principle of charging mobile power, mobile power supply with built-in batteries (18650 and polymers), the nominal voltage is 3.7V, and mobile digital products, such as standard input voltage of 5 v. Therefore, mobile power need to boost Management Board output 5V charge mobile phones and other devices.

Then we are going to do is to use the data cable and mobile connection mobile power charging, then the problem came again, which 4400mA power could all reach cell phone batteries? The answer of course is no, during the charging process, the loss of power, there are still a lot of:

1, circuit switching losses. I think we all know, mobile power charging time may have a fever, according to the law of conservation of energy, emits the heat actually is battery power.

2, resistance dissipated. When the phone is charging, mobile power between the built-in battery and cell phone batteries are connected through the circuit boards and wires. We know that all conductors have resistance, no 0 resistance of conductors (superconductors is not discussed here). The main physical characteristics of resistance is converted to heat energy, so during the charging process, the conductor will have heat, heat will escape and loss of energy.

3 voltage loss. Is a variation of the voltage of the lithium-ion battery discharge, discharge voltage safety range is 4.2V-2.7V, the power of these transformations are also differentiated. General discharge voltage range between 3.6-3.9V and 80% or higher is able to release the battery power, and if outside this range, power loss will increase.

4, power loss. Portable power for cell phones not only to charge the battery when charging, but also to other parts in the power supply, especially screen is a large power consumption.
